Samir Jung Thapa is an award-winning Nepali documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and Founder/Director of Photography (DOP) of Clikman Productions, based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Driven by an early passion for alpine trekking and wilderness exploration across the Himalayas, Samir brings over a decade of specialized expertise in documentary filmmaking, photography, drone cinematography, and visual storytelling. Renowned for his top-tier technical execution—utilizing industry-leading camera gear and advanced equipment—he combines refined visual craft with extensive wilderness survival and practical field skills honed through years of remote operations. His portfolio spans acclaimed works such as Ghosts of the Mountain and the Bally Peak Outlook series, alongside groundbreaking environmental documentation, including capturing fragile mountain ecosystems while summiting Mount Everest in 2019. A celebrated recipient of numerous awards and accolades for best cinematography and filmmaking, Samir consistently addresses burning socio-political issues, wildlife conservation, climate resilience, and mountain community dynamics through visually arresting, impactful cinema.

Sweta Thapa is a Producer and Impact Director who combines rigorous academic research with documentary storytelling to create films that inspire dialogue and drive measurable social change. Bringing interdisciplinary expertise in Visual Anthropology, International Development, and Gender Equity—backed by a decade of experience with global institutions like UN Women and USAID initiatives—she oversees end-to-end project development, qualitative research, grant acquisition, and strategic partnerships. Sweta specializes in executing targeted impact outreach that translates complex socio-political research into compelling visual narratives for policy and public audiences. Having worked alongside Samir Jung Thapa on key documentary initiatives, she leverages her position in Germany to connect South Asian storytelling with European co-production networks, international funders, and global distribution channels.

Eric J. Hall is an Associate Director of Photography and Camera Operator with over a decade of international experience in documentary and nonfiction filmmaking across the United States, Japan, and Europe. His work spans prominent collaborations with global broadcasters—including Al Jazeera Witness and NHK World—as well as award-winning independent feature documentaries. Bringing together technical precision, camera operation, and a refined cinematic vision, Eric translates complex stories into visually compelling cinema.
